General Rental Information

Rental charges apply until all equipment is returned, or, if damaged or missing, completely replaced.

Reserve your equipment well in advance. This will allow you to have the fullest selection of equipment to meet your needs. CINEMA-VISION can set equipment aside for you: please ask for details.

You, or your agent, are expected to examine and test the equipment before you accept it. CINEMA-VISION cannot guarantee, assume suitability or results of the equipment once it leaves our premises.

You must tender a deposit for all rentals, unless you have previously established a House Account. We require a minimum of four business days to establish credit for new accounts. Credit applications are processed through TRW and/or Equifax, who require some time to generate a report.

CINEMA-VISION cannot release any equipment until a rental contract has been completed & an Insurance Certificate has been secured. CINEMA-VISION requires that you tender a deposit for the amount of the deductible of your insurance policy; we accept company checks & most credit cards. Customers who have not established a House Account may be asked to tender a certified check or money order for deposit.

All equipment shipped out of town is shipped collect for freight & insurance. You must also pay for return shipments. Any return collect shipments handled by CINEMA-VISION are subject to a 25% processing fee.
You must notify CINEMA-VISION in advance if you are shipping the equipment out of the five boroughs of New York City; a two-day minimum rental charge applies on all equipment so shipped. CINEMA-VISION cannot make rental allowances for delays caused by the carrier or, if shipped out of the USA, any customs delays.
Equipment returned after 10:00am on any business day will be charged for that entire day.
Special long-term and weekly rates are available.
All prices & specifications are subject to change without notice.
